Tired but Wired is the closing track from the Album “Incinerate to Destroy”, by Om Nom Bomb (Chris Moore & Calvin Steward). This track takes the Bombers in an experimental direction, with the bulk of the music being composed on digital synths, with trademark guitars accompanying a dirty live bass riff. The track has been likened to a soundtrack or movie score, with it’s crashing pace and synth build ups thundering along until the key change kicks in.
Tired but Wired was created using a mix of Garageband and Propellerhead Reason 4, both on a Mac computer. The synth riffs and guitar notes were all beefed up using various degrees of gain and delay to give it a more Prodigy-esque feel.
There is no current video for Tired but Wired, there may be one at some point in the future, along with a remix perhaps, but who knows for now.
The title of the track was inspired by a social networking status update by Hazel Pratt. Let us know what you think by dropping us a comment below. No sign up required, just bang in an email address and you can post.
